Matsu is famous for the world-class phenomenon of "Blue Tears." Participants will have the opportunity to witness the glowing plankton on the sea's surface, creating a dreamy blue light, experiencing the mysterious charm of the ocean at night, and learning about the ecological causes and environmental conservation of Blue Tears.

★ In-Depth Cultural Experience: Visit Matsu's Unique Villages and Historical Buildings
The camp will guide participants to visit characteristic villages such as the traditional Fujian-style houses in Qinbi, the large mansion in Banli, and the Niujiao settlement, to learn about Matsu's traditional architecture and historical development.

The Magical Beauty of Matsu's Summer Blue Tears — A Must-See Spectacle in a Lifetime

During summer, the mesmerizing phenomenon of "Blue Tears" in Matsu is a breathtaking sight one must witness at least once in a lifetime. From March to September each year, this stunning bioluminescent display can be seen in the bays around the Matsu Islands. This summer, let’s set sail together to Matsu in search of the Blue Tears — a natural wonder hailed by CNN as one of the “15 Must-See Natural Phenomena in the World”!

Matsu is not only a strategic military location but also a sacred land — home to the world’s only spiritual cave of Mazu, the sea goddess. Our island-hopping journey will take us through Xiju, Daqiu, Beigan, and Nangan, offering a deep dive into the rich local culture and charm of Matsu.

Discover the hidden world wonder of Xiju — the “Blocky Columnar Basalt Coast” at Kunqiu, walk barefoot on star sand beaches, and admire the Blue Tears shimmering off the breakwater at Qingfan Harbor by night. No need to travel all the way to Nara, Japan — on the uninhabited island of Daqiu, sika deer roam freely. In Beigan’s traditional Qinbi Village, rows of stone houses built from piled stones transport you to a Mediterranean-style ancient town, while the century-old Banli Residence still whispers stories of the past. As night falls, the island unveils yet another scene of glowing Blue Tears.

In Nangan, explore the mysterious tunnels of the “88 Tunnel” and Beihai Tunnel, visit the spiritual cave of Mazu at Matsu Tianhou Temple in Magang, and enjoy panoramic views of mainland China from Yuntai Mountain — all unmissable highlights of our journey, waiting for you to explore and savor.
